The story of Pink Floyd has seen it’s ups and downs over the years. With the loss of band leader Syd Barrett came a change in direction and an inspiration that led the Floyd to the very top of the Rock pile.
Floydian Slips is the musical story of Pink Floyd told in a relaxed conversational style by a 4 piece band fronted by Alan Day and Sven Golden. Songs featured in this tribute include classic favorites … with little known facts about the history of Pink Floyd slipped in. Not quiet desperation … but quiet celebration.
When the show first premiered at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, it was described by “Die Burger” as one of the five shows not to be missed. Running time is about 120 minutes including interval and advance booking is advised.
